Position Description
- Generate and maintain project schedules related to structural and miscellaneous steel installation activities; correlate and integrate within overall project schedule
- Perform periodic reviews of project progress and update schedule(s) as required including possible periodic jobsite visits; overnight travel may be required
- Communicate and collaborate accordingly with internal counterparts including estimators, project managers, production and operations, and field personnel
- Develop and maintain processes for historical document comparison, evaluation, and archival
- Utilize BlueBeam Revu Software to analyze and markup construction documents
- Utilize Trimble software to review 3D models and project logistics
- Assist with select specialty vendors and related coordination activities
Position Requirements
- College degree in a construction or engineering related field preferred
- Knowledge of structural steel and miscellaneous metals preferred
- 3 years experience with modern scheduling software (Primavera or equal) required
- Familiarity with construction management software preferred
- Ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Analytical and problem-solving skills required
- Good time management skills required
- Good negotiating skills required
- Possess and maintain valid driver license required
