Filling Technician (Pharma Manufacturing)

• 1st Shift (5:00am-1:30pm)
• 2nd Shift (1:00pm-9:30pm)
• 3rd Shift (9:00pm-5:30am)

Job Description:

• As Inhalation (IDD) Filling Technician, your primary responsibility is to manufacture the filled aerosol vials according to the requirements of the product, which are documented in batch record documentation and SOPs
• Collect quality samples as required by the batch documentation, and exercises solid understanding/knowledge of in-process and finished product quality requirements
• Assure that equipment is properly cleaned, correct components are used per the batch record, and that all filling processes are compliant with the established method and procedures
• Ensure that all filling lots are completed to meet production timelines and goals
• Operate filling equipment per established operating, quality, and safety practices & procedures
• Keep filling equipment running efficiently and per the production plan, immediately communicating any issues with FOT management and performing troubleshooting & maintenance for routine equipment issues
• Accurately records filling lot information on documents, in M.O.s, logbooks, labels, etc., in accordance with SOP, M.O., and cGMP requirements in pharmaceutical environment
• Ensures the status of current and upcoming filling process is communicated to next shift's technician
• Anticipates and plans for lot kitting, staging, and filling operations for the efficient transition to the next lot
• Stage & maintain supply of raw materials, operating manual and powered pallet jacks and drum handlers, along with a forklift

Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or GED equivalent)
• 4 or more years of related pharmaceutical experience (or similar environment)
• Machine Operation, Lockout/Tagout, Changeover, & Troubleshooting/Maintenance experience
• Good mechanical skills to ensure filling equipment is correct assembled and operated
• Excellent attention to details is essential, ability to follow written/verbal instructions, and ability to use good basic-math skills (including metric conversions and percentages)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.49 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week

• LOTO & Changeover: 2 years (Preferred)
• Forklift or Pallet Jack: 1 year (Preferred)
