Pro Shop Attendant
Parks & Recreation Department - Shennecossett Golf Course
Part-Time, up to 10 hours per week
STARTING RATE (through 6/30/25): $16.50/hour
POSITION RANGE (through 6/30/25): $16.50-$17.50/hour
STARTING RATE (effective 7/1/25): $17.00/hour
POSITION RANGE (effective 7/1/25): $17.00-$18.00/hour
POSITION OVERVIEW & REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
The skills and knowledge required would generally be acquired with a high school education and a minimum of two years' experience in the golf business or related field. Must demonstrate knowledge of the game of golf and its rules and regulations; golf facilities and equipment; and golf course promotion and marketing.
Working knowledge of basic computer operations, sound word processing capabilities, and ability to type are required. Strong customer service, organization and prioritization skills are required. Must possess and maintain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license.
This position has scheduling available seven days a week, 6:00 AM - 12:00 (NOON) and 12:00 (NOON) - 6:00 PM.
