POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for overall guest service for the renter and their guests. A Party Greeter works under the supervision of the Facility Rentals Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate to renters, guests and staff with professionalism, enthusiasm, and courtesy. Demonstrate respect, responsibility, and caring.
- Act in a professional and positive manner by abiding by the dress code and upholding all C&RC policies.
- Arrive promptly as scheduled. Obtain the Rental Permits and Greeter Checklist found in Facility Greeter files. Ensure all sign-in sheets and signs are prepared correctly.
- Review room(s) for cleanliness and correct set-up and prepare check-in area. Register, check-in and check-out all guests at a function.
- Ensure function runs smoothly by checking with renter and party guests, and head lifeguard, every 15 minutes for a Pool Party and every 30 minutes for a CMM function.
- Actively plan, set-up, lead and participate in Gym Party activities.
- Is present and immediately available throughout entire function to answer and assist with questions and/or problems while ensuring overall level of customer service is above and beyond expectations.
- Complete walk though of entire room and follow-up with Manager on Duty, Maintenance and/or Housekeeping if any damage occurred during the function. Complete necessary forms if damage occurred.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and file as appropriate.
- Communicate with the Facilities Rental Coordinator: This includes answering emails and texts in a timely manner, following protocol for schedule changes, and attending mandatory meetings and trainings.
QUALIFICATIONS
Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Must be at least age 16.
- Comfortable working with children and adults, sometimes in tense situations.
- Willing to be trained and certified to perform CPR and first aid.
- Ability to separate and create a balance between work and personal life.
- Ability to communicate effectively in the English language.
Education and Experience
- Must be at least age16.
- Must obtain all pertinent state and federal clearances.
