What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Sales Associate position at Toy Time?
We are seeking a Cashiers Associate to become an integral part of our team selling Toys!
at Nebraska, Lincoln store.
You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a toy/gifts/etc retail setting in order to drive company revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and identify customer needs
- Explain products and services to customers
- Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock
- Enter and process customer orders
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints
- Coordinate with current owners
- Manage/handle daily cash and run daily closing reports for reconciliation.
- Cleans/restocks items in low business hours.
- Be part of team, and be courteous to work with other team members.
- Ability to handle customers crowd during peak seasons of sale.
- Monday through Friday, 11 am – 7 pm
- Saturday, 11 am - 7 pm
- Sunday, Noon – 6 pm
Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating a cash register
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Prior experience in retail sales or a grocery store setting
- Knowledge of retail math and merchandising techniques
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
