Member Service Officer
Trailhead Credit Union is seeking a motivated and solutions-oriented Member Services Officers (MSO) to join the team at our Old Town branch. We hire people that have the skills to deliver exceptional, personalized service to our members to find the right product for their needs.
The MSO is responsible for completing a variety of tasks including originating and underwriting personalized lending solutions, identifying appropriate Trailhead products and services that build solid and lasting relationships with members. A successful candidate will work with members in the office, on the teller line, by phone and via online service portals.
Responsibilities:
- Uphold the Trailhead service promises: Celebrate, Anticipate, Respect, Engage, Deliver
- Underwrite loan applications and make sound business decisions
- Open new accounts
- Handle a variety of monetary transactions for our members
- Assist members with financial services and account maintenance either by phone, mail, or in person
- Build customized solutions within a wide array of products and services specific to member needs
- Interact and support other members of Trailhead staff and management in a positive, respectful, and professional manner
Work week:
- Monday thru Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in the financial services industry
- Exceptional customer service experience
- 1 year of cash handling experience
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic PC skills
Preferred experience:
- 1 year of Lending experience highly preferred
