THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to oversee our Team in Florence, AL. This unique role requires a hands-on leader who can wear multiple hats, manage daily operations, and lead our dedicated teams in kitting, warehousing, and distribution processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage daily operations of the Florence location, ensuring efficient production, kitting, and distribution of automotive parts to major retailers.
• Oversight for a small on-site branch operation.
• Supervise a team of (15-20) employees, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork.
• Oversee inventory management, including ordering, fulfillment, and tracking of stock levels.
• Implement and maintain processes for kitting and packaging, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with retailers and customers through online shipment portals, managing orders and delivery schedules.
• Utilize ERP and TMS systems to optimize operations and reporting.
• Collaborate with the corporate team to align local strategies with overall business objectives.
• Analyze operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement in productivity and efficiency.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-5 years of leadership experience in operations, production, or warehouse management.
• Proven experience in the auto parts industry or a related field, with knowledge of retail operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, kitting processes, and distribution logistics.
• Familiarity with ERP and TMS systems for inventory and order management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a small team.
• P&L Management Experience
• Experience in managing KPIs 
• Retail Packing and Production Scheduling experience
• Accounts Receivable experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
