Role Overview:
The IT Support Engineer will provide technical support and system administration to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure, with a focus on identity and access management through Okta. This role requires hands-on experience with Okta, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to assist end-users with a variety of technical issues. You will play a critical role in managing user access, securing systems, and improving the overall IT environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve technical support requests via phone, slack, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Assist with network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi connectivity and basic router/switch configurations.
- Document IT support processes, issues, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Support onboarding by preparing workstations and ensuring IT resources are available for new employees.
- Perform regular system updates, backups, and antivirus checks.
- Integrate Okta and other software solutions for employees and contractors
Qualifications:
- Experience administering and supporting Okta, including SSO, MFA, and lifecycle management.
- Solid understanding of identity management and directory services
