Investment Operations Associate
An established financial planning firm is looking for a Investment Operations Associate. The primary focus of this role is to support clients with their Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) processing, ensuring documentation is handled accurately and communications are timely. The position offers an hourly rate of $24.
Responsibilities of the Investment Operations Associate Include:
- Contact clients to inform them of their RMD amount and determine if they would like assistance with processing.
- Prepare required paperwork for RMD processing and confirm the client’s preferred method of document delivery (mail, email, or Docusign, if available).
- Send paperwork to clients for their signature and follow up to ensure receipt, review, and completion.
- Submit completed and signed documents to the applicable company for processing.
- Follow up with the company to confirm the document is in good order and that the RMD processing is on track.
- Assist with other clerical and data entry tasks as assigned.
Qualifications of the Investment Operations Associate Include:
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or 1 years of experience in Finance
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with clients.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with document management tools; experience with Docusign or similar platforms is a plus
- Basic data entry skills and a comfort with general administrative tasks.
