What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver/Med Tech position at Trinity Assisted Living?
Overview:
We are holding open interviews on Monday Feb 17th from 10 am to 3pm. We are looking to add motivated people who care about the elderly to our fabulous team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, in nursing homes, senior care facilities, hospitals, or hospice care settings. Knowledge of Epic software, tube feeding, and medical terminology is highly desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to patients in various healthcare settings
- Assist with activities of daily living for patients
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities
- Assist with patient mobility and transfers
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
Skills:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of nursing home, senior care, hospital, or hospice care environments
- Familiarity with Epic software for medical records management
- Proficiency in tube feeding procedures
- Understanding of medical terminology and physiology
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
