1:1 Weekday Autism Aide

Are you looking for a Monday- Friday role?

TriSource is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Aide's to begin working in a classroom setting assisting students in a non public school.

These schools are located within the Harford County- Belcamp/ Bel-Air areas.

Looking for staff to start ASAP!

Requirements:

• Experience working with vulnerable population
• Experience and/or comfortability working with children who have developmental and intellectual disabilities (autism experience is a PLUS!)
• Experience working with behaviors
• Ability to work in a classroom setting
• Reliable transportation or Driver's License
• Clean background and ability to pass a drug screen
• High school diploma
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Responsibilities:

• Supervises and manages student behavior in the classroom
• Maintains proper rules, safety and security of students, providing crisis intervention when necessary.
• Oversees student to ensure they are on track academically/ following IEP
• Provides verbal cues and physical de-escalation tools when student is in crisis
• Supports teaching staff when assistance is requested

Schedule:

• Monday- Friday 8:30-4:30
