Engineering Manager (JOB ID 1122)

We are seeking a Engineering Manager with the primary focus in manufacturing processes. This position is for a military & defense company located onsite in Huntsville, AL.

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering
• At least 2 years in a managerial role
• Proficiency in SolidWorks
• U.S. citizenship
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Additional Skills:

• Experience managing multiple sites
• Expertise in establishing new manufacturing operations from the ground up
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification
• SolidWorks certification
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 9 Engineers, Designers, and Technicians across multiple sites
• Travel between two locations to oversee manufacturing processes
• Provide leadership and oversight to the Production Engineering Team
• Serve in a hands-on capacity, managing all technical aspects of assigned projects and programs, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating personnel and production engineering activities
• Support fixture design, analysis, and 3D modeling using SolidWorks, as well as plant layouts, line layouts, prototyping, and testing
• Implement production support changes as required
• Design, develop, analyze, document, and support the manufacturing of products, systems, or subsystems for both Quality Testing and Production Builds
• Create and update routings, BOMs (Bills of Materials), and work instructions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
