Responsibilities
- Under general supervision of the Registered Nurse, function as a member of the surgical team, creating and maintaining a sterile field, supplying surgeon with needed instruments and supplies in accordance with established policies and procedures of Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital.
- Assist with and assume general departmental duties and responsibilities.
- Practice within the guidelines set by AST and AORN.
- Perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Graduate of a Surgical Technology program, equivalent training as an LPN or five years of experience in scrubbing operative procedures
- Surgical Technologist Certification (NBSTSA or NCCT)
Preferred Job Requirements
- Two (2) years clinical practice with experience in the specific field
