What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Embroiderer - 1st Shift position at Two Fish Apparel?
We are a contract apparel decorator in Union Township looking to hire commercial embroiderer to run two 6-head Tajima embroidery machines. The job is full time Monday through Friday and occasional overtime on weekends. We are only looking for experienced applicants with previous commercial embroiery or sewing experience.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Follow written work orders to complete multiple orders per shift
- Thread proper colors into the machines for each design
- Select appropriate embroidery hoops for each garment and design
- Monitor machine settings for quality and speed
- Fix or alert the production manager of errors during production
- Others duties as assigned
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Some basic computer skills required
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Occasionally lift up to 35 pounds to move boxes or carts
- Previous commercial embroidery experience greatly preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
