Job Summary
The Retail Assistant Manager will support the store manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning of the retail store and providing excellent customer service.
Duties
- Assist in managing store staff, including recruiting, training, and supervising employees
- Oversee inventory management, stock levels, and pricing strategies
- Handle cash transactions and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer inquiries or complaints
- Assist in creating and implementing visual merchandising displays
- Support store manager in achieving sales targets and goals
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach a team
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of store management practices and procedures
- Excellent communication skills with a professional phone etiquette
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers and vendors
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus
- Experience in stock management and pricing strategies
