Job Summary
The Academy Teacher at Julian Charter School, Inc. is required to grow professionally, use best practices with students, impact student learning, collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school community. An Academy Teacher will be responsible for implementing the essential duties within a particular classroom based upon the academy program.
Requirements / Qualifications
This position requires a current CA Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential or Single Subject in Social Science. If you do not currently hold an appropriate California credential at the time of your application, your application will not be considered.
In addition to a resume and letter of introduction, we require three letters of recommendation, a current negative TB test, current CPR certification, and copies of all college transcripts to be uploaded at the time of application. JCS-Mountain Oaks is currently seeking a full time 100% FTE Academy Teacher to support our middle school students for the 2024-2025 school year.
Our program is a modified homestudy program with homestudy days every Friday. We have favorable student- teacher ratios, and a close school community with active and involved parents.
