The Store Manager will oversee sales objectives, supervise and train staff, manage inventory, create merchandising strategies, build and maintain customer relationships, and provide a superior shopping experience for customers.
Responsibilities:
Staff Management
- Recruitment & Training: Hire, train, and onboard new employees. Develop and implement ongoing training programs.
- Scheduling & Time Management: Create and manage store schedule, ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours.
- Performance Management: Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, conduct performance reviews, and handle disciplinary actions if necessary.
- Team Leadership: Motivate and lead the team to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Customer Service
- Customer Experience: Ensure customers receive a high level of service, resolve customer complaints, and maintain a positive store environment.
- Loyalty Programs: Implement and manage customer loyalty programs and initiatives to drive customer retention. Develop a client-book with repeat customers.
- Sales: Drive sales and maximize profitability through client outreach, personal styling and successful events
Operations
- Store Standards: Maintain store’s appearance, ensuring opening, closing and cleaning checklist are completed.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory movement and sell through consolidation, complete markdowns.
- Content Creation: Assist with content creation for social media platforms.
Visual Merchandising
- Product knowledge: Educate team on brand knowledge, current styles and industry trends and implement in selling practices.
- Window Displays: Conceptualize and execute eye-catching window displays that draw customers into the store.
- In-Store Displays: Design and implement product displays, promotional areas, and themed sections, to highlight featured products.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5 years of experience in a retail environment is required, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong background in customer service with a passion for fashion!
- Night and weekend availability required.
- Bachelor's Degree
