Eclipse System Administrator

Position Summary:

We are looking for our next employee-owner to join our small but mighty IT department in New Castle, DE. This person is Responsible for supporting the organization by supporting our core ERP system (Epicor Eclipse), including the Job Management application. This also includes solving any issues related to the operation of system, evaluating, and installing new software releases, and ensuring data integrity of data files by monitoring system configurations. This position will also assist in the business systems analysis of ERP-related projects.

Position Responsibilities:

• Installs new software releases and system upgrades.
• Evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems in Eclipse.
• Performs Eclipse and Linux system backups and recovery.
• Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
• Acts as a primary contact with contracted vendor for Eclipse.
• Responsible for disaster recovery of Eclipse.
• Creates and maintains user profiles/access to Eclipse, terminal ids, and printers.
• Provides support and training to end users on a variety of issues and resolves various technical problems as needed.
• Documents, tracks, and monitors problems via our internal help desk to ensure a timely resolution.
• Performs analysis, specification creation, and testing related to EDI/VMI implementations.
• Assists with automating our reporting process.
• Serves as a member of the overall IT support team.
• Performs other duties as obvious or assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3 – 5 years of SQL Server experience required.
• Comfortable running Excel and Access Macros.
• Eclipse ERP System knowledge required.
• Working knowledge of commonly used business concepts, practices, and procedures in relation to Eclipse, Purchasing, and Inventory.
