We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide essential support to clients in their homes. We service clients all around Coos County, Port Orford, and Gold Beach. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily living activities. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, particularly for seniors and those with memory-related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support clients with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
• Documentation of care provided.
• Observe and report any changes in client condition or behavior to manager.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities.
• Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Provide specialized care for clients with dementia or other memory-related conditions.

Experience

• Previous experience in home care, senior care, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with patient observation techniques.
• Experience in providing care for individuals with dementia or memory care needs is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families are essential.
• A compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others are crucial for success in this role.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
