This position is located in the Prisoner Operations Division, Arlington, VA.
The selectee of this position serves as a Grants-Cooperative Agreement Specialist. You will be responsible for working to plan for and obtain adequate and sufficient detention space for prisoners in state, local, and private detention facilities.
Duties
As a Grants-Cooperative Agreement Specialist at the GS-1101-12 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Determining specific Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) detention requirements, potential sources, and special terms and conditions required by state, or local government.
- Identifying deficiencies and recommending practical solutions to achieve intended program goals.
- Conducting assessments of prisoner populations and detention facilities.
The responsibilities described above are for the full performance level. At the developmental grade levels, assignments may be of more limited scope, performed with less independence, and limited complexity.

Salary : $101,401 - $131,826
