Summary:
This position creates elearning assets, such as interactive content built in Articulate Storyline and Rise, as well as providing instructional design and project management support. This position will work directly with project managers, subject matter experts and other designers to develop engaging, compelling, and accessible learning content.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Credentials to be verified. Any one or any combination of the following, totaling two (2) years (24 months), from the categories below:
Knowledge of function, operation, and maintenance of different types of elearning software.
Knowledge of routine office software such as word processing, spread sheets, and/or databases.
Ability to identify and resolve technical problems.
Ability to provide quality customer support and professionally interact with all faculty, staff and external partners.
Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Creates elearning content and activities in Articualte Storyline and Rise
- Works with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s project needs and deliverables
- Creates supporting instructional content, such as manuals, guides, and job aids
- Provides exercises, activities and assessments that enhance the learning process and contributes to the design or project deliverable according to deadlines.
- Analyzes and applies trends and best practices in accessibility and instructional design
- Other duties as assigned.
Credentials to be verified. Any one or any combination of the following, totaling two (2) years (24 months), from the categories below:
- Credit for progressively more advanced college course work comparable to that leading to a major in instructional design, graphic design, instructional technology or education.
- 30 semester hours equals 6 months
- 60 semester hours equals 1 year (12 months)
- 90 semester hours equals 2 years (24 months)
- Experience in instructional design
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience in professional writing or editing, audiovisual design and/or production, design and/or production of evaluation tools, educational programming, curriculum development, or classroom teaching.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the theory and practice of instructional technology and online education.
- Ability to apply principles of universal design and accessibility to all aspects of work.
- Demonstrated history of professional service and collaboration with colleagues both within and outside of the institution.
