Summary:
This position will support eLearning curriculum development work under Partners for Reentry Opportunities in Workforce Development (PROWD) Grant project funding. Responsibilities include conducting learner analyses, storyboarding, working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to define and refine content, developing interactive gamified curriculum in Articulate Storyline, and managing aspects of the project along with a team. The ideal candidate will have some experience in gamified learning, instructional design, and working with underrepresented learner populations, especially formerly incarcerated individuals.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Creates gamified eLearning content and activities in Articulate 360
- Creates supporting instructional content like audio and video
- Works with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s project needs and deliverables
- Provides exercises, activities and assessments that enhance the learning process and contributes to the design or project deliverable according to deadlines.
- Analyzes and applies trends and best practices in accessibility and instructional design
- Other duties as assigned.
Any combination of the following, totaling 6 months from the categories below:
- Coursework in instructional design, instructional technology, education, or similar field. o 30 semester hours equals 6 months
- Certification in instructional design or gamified eLearning development.
- Work experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or gamified eLearning development.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the theory and practice of instructional design, gamification, and online education.
- Certifications or experience in gamified learning development.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Portfolio samples in Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate.
- Experience working with prison populations or formerly incarcerated individuals.
