Position Summary
This position is designed to alleviate the preceptor workforce shortage by facilitating the entry of more clinical faculty into formal educational program roles and managing the creation and implementation of a preceptor academy working closely with project faculty and staff to identify barriers and stressors related to serving as a preceptor or in a clinical faculty role. Serves as a clinical faculty resource and as the interface between clinical partners to address barriers, amplify facilitators, determine gaps, and create innovative solutions. Works with other faculty and staff on educational and other products and processes that relate to both clinical faculty and preceptors, and address quality improvement and Community of Practice efforts.
