The Visiting Nurse Association is currently seeking a detail oriented, self-motivated clinical individual who wants to make a difference in the community.
The Immunization Program Coordinator assumes management responsibilities related to the Immunization Program following the VNHS program guidelines and in accordance with the recommended state policies and procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares statistical reports, financial reports and budgets.
- Monitors, analyzes and evaluates program financial results and quality outcomes. Reports performance to management.
- Assists in developing and implementing program marketing plan.
- Develops and tracks department invoices and expenses against budget.
- Assures wise use of resources and cost containment.
- Recruits, develops, trains, evaluates and supervises assigned staff with clinical oversight.
- Administers daily operations for programs in a timely manner assuring quality and efficiency in operations.
- Participates in activities to assess and ensure client satisfaction with program services.
- Participates in program planning, development, administration and evaluation.
- Establishes and develops ongoing relationships with community and corporate clinic sites.
- Provides presentations to educate the community, individuals and groups regarding available services.
- Prepares vaccine ordering.
- Promotes a positive working environment for program staff and the agency.
- Promotes the growth of the VNA by representing the organization, its mission, and its role in the community in a professional manner.
- Leads the Homebound program.
- Develops an innovative plan to achieve and expand program goals.
- Leads and mentors staff to support consistent performance.
- Maintains external and internal client confidentiality.
- Supervises program staff. Has the authority to make hiring recommendations, collaborates with Program Clinical Coordinator, Vice President and/or Human resources when utilizing the disciplinary process or making decisions regarding termination.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 2 years’ experience in health care environment.
- Professional license welcomed, however not required.
- Experience in sales or marketing preferred. Ability to develop innovative approaches to program development and implementation.
- Adapts to changes in procedures and technology.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Effective professional communication skills, both written and oral.
- Proficient in Excel and Jot.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of standards effectively.
- Valid Driver’s License and Auto Insurance coverage.
- Must have your own reliable transportation.
