Postdoctoral position available
Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences
University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy
The laboratory of Dr. In-Kwon Kim at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy (https://www.inkwonkimlab.com/) is seeking a motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our dynamic team. Our lab focuses on the mechanism, function, and drug discovery of key enzymes in the ADP-ribosylation cycle and DNA repair, with the ultimate goal of developing novel tumor-selective therapeutics. Our research spans both basic science and translational applications, aiming to advance this field through mechanistic studies and innovative drug discovery.
Successful candidates should have a PhD in the fields of biomedical sciences (broadly defined) and those with expertise in mechanistic cell biology, such as CRISPR-based knockout, immunoprecipitation, and cell imaging techniques, are highly preferred.
The ideal candidate will (1) investigate the roles of enzymes and small molecule modulators in the ADP-ribosylation cycle and their impact on DNA repair, using CRISPR-based knockout, immunoprecipitation, and cell imaging techniques, and (2) collaborate with our structural biochemistry teams to bridge basic and translational research efforts.
Please apply through the University of Pittsburgh Talent Center at www.join.pitt.edu, requisition number 24009006. Please submit your CV, cover letter explaining your work during PhD, and contact information for three references.
