What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiting Assistant position at Upson Regional Medical Center?
The Human Resources Department is the main resource for applicants and employees throughout their employment journey. The Recruiting Assistant is responsible for supporting the recruitment function through proactive outreach and networking with high schools, tech schools, and colleges. The Recruiting Assistant will assist the Director with the Recruitment Team and the evolving recruitment plan. The Recruitment Assistant will develop effective strategies to quickly fill hard to fill positions and critical needs. Our team is our priority and the Recruitment Assistant also serves to be an ambassador to the HR Department, while providing basic clerical support such as filing, answering phones, creating documents or files, setting up files, verifying licensure/education, and/or other duties related to Human Resources as assigned. The job requires confidentiality and a teamwork minded individual. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing and welcoming personality, with a high degree of professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. At least one year experience in a clerical setting, with basic computer experience such as email, Microsoft Office products, web-based products, etc. At least one year HR experience, perferably in recruitment. Medical/hospital terminology a plus. Ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, a high degree of professionalism, and a strong work ethic. Prefer candidates who have detailed experience with Microsoft Excel to include VLOOKUP formulas and PowerQuery.
