JJob Title: Financial Analyst / Assistant Controller
Location: Surfside, FL (close to Bal Harbour Mall)
Job Type: Full-time, Onsite (No remote possibilities)
Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst or Assistant Controller to join our small family office in Surfside, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience with QuickBooks and be willing to go beyond basic AP/AR and accounting tasks. We need a bilingual (English/Spanish) team player with a great disposition who can contribute to managing assets in both the US and Latin America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial management and reporting.
- Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely financial operations.
- Support the Controller with various accounting and financial tasks.
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage various responsibilities efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to assist in various tasks.
- Experience working with assets in the US and Latin America is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
Pay Rate:
- Pay will depend on experience.

- Monday to Friday, on-site in Surfside, FL (no remote possibilities).
