U.S. Got People is searching for a Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner to work Full-Time at Brooke Army Medical Center working directly with our active duty service members in Joint Base San Antonio!

Qualifications of Nurse Practitioner
- Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program
- BLS and ACLS
- Must have or obtain a current, valid Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number
- Minimum of 1 year experaince in internal medical setting (post graduation)
- Shall have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license to practice medicine
Job duties for Nurse Practitioner may include but are not limited to:
- Provide a full range of outcome-based nurse practitioner services in accordance with privileges granted
- Provide immunizations
- Diagnose treat and counsel patients
- Technically direct and provide care for various diseases and/or types of injuries (acute, chronic, minor trauma)
- Recognize emergency conditions for proper treatment
- Direct and teach staff
- Provide educational lectures
- Train in-service staff members
- Promote preventative care and health maintenance
- Annual physicals
- Teach patients and family member’s healthy regimens and methods to achieve wellness
