Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented in house Mortgage Assistant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and regulations related for mortgage compliance.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control Documents and client financial information.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct internal audits and assist in regulatory reporting to maintain compliance management standards.
• Collaborate with public accounting and corporate accounting teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, financial auditing practices, and mortgage products.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the mortgage process.

Experience

• Proven experience in mortgage and or accounting is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles related to mortgage lending.
• Experience in conducting internal audits and regulatory reporting is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly to clients.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in evaluating financial documents.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• On call
• Overtime
