USI Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer to manage the Road Design Department. The qualified applicant will provide road design engineering experience and will be an organized individual. We expect the applicant to be a competent engineer who is ready for the next step in their career. Summary of Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead a department of 15 engineers, project managers and designers
- Responsible for transportation and geometric roadway design, plan development, public presentation, specification writing, drainage calculations, quantity calculations, cost estimating, utility coordination, permitting, and technical report writing
- Work within a team environment to develop and design Road projects for state and local clients.
- Efficiently and clearly be able to communicate project status items to the Road Design Team and clients.
- Assist in the recruitment of new talent and contribute to a positive company culture.
- Managing quality of the design team
