UST is searching for a DevOps Engineering Lead who will interpret the DevOps Tool/feature/component design to develop/support the same in accordance with specifications.
The Opportunity
What You Need
Role Location: Washington
Compensation Range: $78,000-$118,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

You Are
UST is searching for a DevOps Engineering Lead who will interpret the DevOps Tool/feature/component design to develop/support the same in accordance with specifications.
The Opportunity
- Hybrid-In office/remote
- Adapts existing DevOps solutions and creates own DevOps solutions for new contexts.
- Codes, debugs, tests, documents and communicates DevOps development stages/status of DevOps develop/support issues.
- Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving or reconfiguration of existing components.
What You Need
- Development background in GoLang is preferred.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies, including resources such as EC2, IAM, ELB, S3, and Aurora.
- Proficient in working with GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and code repository management.
- Familiarity with analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving application/infrastructure issues.
- Hands-on experience with application monitoring and performance troubleshooting using tool such as Grafana.
- Ability to perform Ops activities, including incident management and operational support.
- Exposure to container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience with DevOps tools and practices, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in writing automation scripts tailored to business requirements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on working in cross-functional teams.
