Vale Group has partnered with a company based in Valencia, California, who is actively searching for an experienced Junior Manufacturing Engineer to work onsite for an opportunity paying $59,000–$75,000 annually, based on experience. This role supports the development and certification of FAA-PMA components in a dynamic aviation manufacturing environment. Key tasks include reverse engineering, creating detailed 2D/3D designs, and preparing FAA submittal packets.

Requirements of the Junior Manufacturing Engineer position:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• :2 years of aerospace or aviation experience (preferably with safety equipment, though not required)
• Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities
• Clear understanding of reverse engineering methodologies
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  
  
  

Responsibilities of the Junior Manufacturing Engineer position:

• Reverse engineer FAA-PMA components
• Create precise 2D and 3D drawings
• Develop qualification test plans and procedures
• Perform equipment and material testing studies
• Prepare and submit FAA certification documentation
• Monitor project timelines and milestones
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely delivery
• Write and update manufacturing orders, weld schedules, and test reports
• Operate various tools, including CMMs, scanners, and micrometers, to verify part measurements
