It is the mission the Vermillion Fire EMS Department to provide Emergency Services for the City of Vermillion, South Dakota and surrounding Clay County including mutual aid for surrounding communities. Vermillion Fire EMS Department will respond to fires, accidents, rescues, medical emergencies, mutual aid calls and other threats to public safety and property from both natural and man-made disasters.
