The Associate Director (AD) is a storyteller and client-facing leader capable of utilizing the full breadth of our talent. They are strong presenters, with the ability to command a room, and are entrusted with leading cross-functional teams of expert practitioners. ADs work closely with Directors and VPs to design, pitch and craft award-winning experiences on behalf of our clients. The ideal AD candidate is a good listener and synthesizer—someone who can extract meaningful insights from research and strategy inputs and connect the dots between seemingly disparate data points. Successful ADs are adept at engaging clients in creative discussions, generating excitement and building consensus and support for ambitious ideas.

- Bachelor’s degree, or commensurate experience.
- 8-10 years of related work experience.
- Experience with a variety of UX and design software used to create launch-ready digital assets.
- Working knowledge of commonly used rapid prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Webfow).
- Strong communication skills. Presents reasoning, evidence, and conclusions clearly and concisely. Structures arguments in a coherent manner.
- Possesses working knowledge of a broad range of technical considerations related to delivering launch-ready digital assets.
- Capable of drawing well-reasoned conclusions from evidence and logic. Assesses the strength of arguments and identifies potential consequences.
- Proficiency in understanding and explaining the meaning of data, arguments, and information. Recognizes underlying assumptions and implications.
- Ability to assess the credibility and relevance of sources, information, and arguments. Distinguishes between fact and opinion, and identifies biases or logical fallacies.
- Ability to analyze complex information, identify patterns and relationships, and break down problems into manageable parts.
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS.
- Experience with JS frameworks (e.g., Node.js, React, Vue) considered a plus.
- Experience working within WCAG guidelines considered a plus.
