Summary:
The Operations Support Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the maintenance and repair activities of cell towers and related facilities nationally. This role requires a strong understanding of facilities management, procurement strategies, vendor management, and regulatory compliance. The manager will coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Job Functions:
- Manage the OPEX and CAPEX budgets for repair and maintenance
- Outsource routine and on-demand maintenance, including snow removal, grounds care, access road upkeep, trash removal, HVAC, generator, fence, signage, and lock repairs, etc.
- Implement competitive bidding processes to solicit bids from multiple vendors for procurement needs, ensuring the company obtains the best possible pricing and terms, assessing bids based on price, quality, delivery, and compliance
- Foster positive vendor relationships ensuring prompt communication for performance optimization and risk mitigation
- Develop and manage daily project plans, coordinate internal and external resources, and ensure timely completion within budget
- Complete project closure, including scope of work completion documentation review, document (photos) uploads, ticketing and Jobs closure. Update and maintain accurate site information in the database, ensuring data integrity and quality
- Assist and coordinate to close out all accounting requirements for projects, including requisitions, purchase orders, invoice approvals, etc.
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency
- Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and other regulations
- Manage internal and external communications, build relationships, and address issues by identifying requirements, anticipating and resolving problems
- Monitor and communicate metrics with company tracking tools and reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis
- Assist the Mergers & Acquisitions group with integrating newly acquired sites into Vertical Bridge's portfolio
- Participate in weekly/daily conference calls and attend team and company meetings as designated

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, construction project management, or a similar role
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing budgets, vendors, and projects
- Knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and safety regulations
- Thorough knowledge of telecommunication construction practices
- Experience with handling and managing P&L of up to $6 Million per year
- Excellent client relationship management skills
- Required to have a valid driver’s license
- Disciplined, organized, and thorough individual who is a self-starter
- Effective in an entrepreneurial culture, working independently and as part of a team
