What are the responsibilities and job description for the Python and .Net Developer position at Vetted Security Solutions?
Overview: Vetted is looking for an experienced software developer and system administrator with familiarity in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps and Systems Engineering. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of operating large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments. This position requires a strong working knowledge of Microsoft ASP.net MVC, NET and Python programming as well as all aspects of containerization in an IOT DEVOPS environment. The ideal candidate is not only technically skilled but also understands the sensitive nature and urgency of law enforcement tasks.
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Linux Software Development and Systems Administration:
o Develop and maintain applications using Python, etc.
o Service and support Linux-based systems, with a thorough understanding of Linux internals.
2. Windows development and System Administration
o Write web applications in ASP.net MVC and console applications in .net core.
o Service and support windows servers.

3. Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
o Implement monitoring solutions like Nagios, Grafana, Zabbix.
o Employ excellent troubleshooting skills to quickly resolve issues in complex systems.
o Work closely with the Cyber Security Team to ensure CIA principles are applied and comply with required security protocols and policies.
4. Customer Configuration & Support
o Provide setup and configuration support for new customers using TechAlert.
o Act as customer support for deployed customers (only on TechAlert issues).
o Manage product documentation and guides.
5. Optimizations and improvements to the containerization of applications and supporting systems.
Qualifications & Skills:
· 3 years of Python application development.
· 3 years of Microsoft .net application development
· Familiarity with SRE, DevOps, or Systems Engineering roles.
· Experience with large-scale distributed systems in cloud environments.
· Strong experience using containerization (Docker) in IOT Development environments.
· Linux and windows Systems Administration skills
· Experience with networking protocols and components.
· Experience with configuration management tools and DevOps methodologies.
· Familiarity with monitoring tools and AWS cloud services.
· Continuous learner and critical thinker with excellent communication skills.
Additional Requirements:
· Ability to pass a comprehensive security and background check.
· Capable of self-managing workloads and meeting strict deadlines.
· Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Location:
· Position based out of our St. Petersburg office
· Occasional travel monthly to the Orlando office to interface with software teams
· Occasional travel to customer meetings and work related events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
