You support our team as
Logistics Manager
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage customer service, material ordering, production scheduling. (warehousing and the administration of these activities)
- Manage customer portals
- Monthly reporting of several logistics KPIs (e.g. inventory, delivery performance and customer ratings, freight cost, premium freight, …) and derive actions from that to meet the goals
- Maintain an excellent delivery performance and lower inventory levels as much as possible (inventory in % of sales and or Days of Coverage).
- Manage documentation of the executed processes
- Continues improvement Logistics Supplier Development when necessary
- Assures conformance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and HSE requirements
- University Degree or higher preferred
- Five years experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least three years in the automotive industry
- Continuous Improvement / Lean Management experience.
- Good Microsoft Excel and Power Point skills
- Extensive MRP software experience with AS400 / SAP modules MM & SD / respectively
- Experience in an automotive working environment and pace
- Experience with an international supply chain
- On-site: Candidates must be able to work on site five days per week in Sandusky, MI.
