Overview
We are seeking an experienced Server to join our small, eclectic team.
We are looking for year round with the understanding that Seasonal volume peaks between July and October. Must have experience with fine dining and banquets.
The right server could grow into a management position in the months to come. This is a leadership opportunity for the right personality.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using the POS system.
- Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of food safety.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and providing change.
- Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service flow.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to meet guest needs promptly.
- Answer and return phone calls & voicemails during service.
- Side-work includes polishing glasses, silverware roll-ups and swapping stained seat covers.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the fine dining required.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with Toast POS systems for order processing is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.

Pay: From $5.62 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
