LOOKING FOR EXPERIENCED ALARM SSERVICE TECHNICIANS!
Vigilante Security currently has an opening for an Alarm Service Technician in the Troy area. The ideal candidate for this role will be a team player and intuitive, with a dedication to continuous growth and development. Under the supervision of the Installation Supervisor, you’ll support the installation, maintenance, and repair of security and fire systems, alarm devices, and other related equipment.
Your daily responsibilities of an Alarm Service Technician include:
- Troubleshooting malfunctioning alarm systems
- Running and installing wires per manufacturer specifications and code
- Mounting and fastening devices/panels
- Demonstrating systems for customers and explaining details and use
- Assisting in fire protection inspections on Life Safety and Security Systems:
As a Technician at Vigilante Security, you will be required to have:
- Valid Driver's License
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to to climb ladders
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work well with others
- A Safety-First mentality
For you to be a Top Candidate at Vigilante Security, you would have the following:
- NICET Certification (preferred)
- Network CAT5 experience (preferred)
- Electrical experience (Preferred)
- Familiarity with Alarm system product and software (preferred)
