Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selection.
- Maintain an organized and clean checkout area while ensuring that all merchandise is properly stocked on the sales floor.
- Conduct product demonstrations to promote new items and engage customers.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling and ensure accurate financial transactions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback.
- Follow phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries over the phone.
- Assist in training new staff members on cash register operations and customer service protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required.
