Where You'll Work

How You'll Help Us Build The DNA Of Tech
- Sets the area sales distribution direction for organization sales distribution growth in order to maximize market potential in concert with company goals. Negotiates contracts and meets with key/high volume customers.
- Participates at area meetings and sets forth policies and plans to achieve area distribution growth, marketing objectives, distribution headcount planning, etc.
- Approves budgets and capital expenditures as set by top organizational level.
- Actively develops new business for Vishay through distribution sales channels
- Involves Vishay application engineering when possible and necessary
- Acquires a comprehensive knowledge of all customer personnel, vendor policies and products; builds strong relationships at all levels to ensure cooperation with decision makers
- Maintains close awareness of trends and industry needs for long range planning
- Makes consistent efforts to improve knowledge of Vishay products and the related applications
- Responds to management requirements and directives in a positive and timely manner
- Responsible for recommending and subsequently achieving forecasts, budgets, and financial goals
- Directs Distributors toward meeting financial plan goals and constant sales growth
- Supports Product Line forecasts
- Develop and manage distribution sales team
- Coordinates Distributors' advertising campaigns in compliance with existing contracts and in liaison with European Marketing team
- 10 years' experience with significant experience in distribution at management level for manufacturer
- Able to handle and solve problems
- Excellent knowledge of Distribution Business Practice
- Technical understanding
- Intercompany : Must be a capable motivator and communicator able to sell and present ideas which may help to grow the business to Vishay Management
- Customer-facing : Excellent verbal skills required to communicate instructions and present ideas and new product lines to all levels at Distributors; able to perform presentations in front of larger audiences
- Ability to travel
