Job Location: New York City, NY and Jersey City, NJ
Job Schedule: weekday; dayshift; TBD clinic dates Spring 2025
Job Type: Per Diem, 1099 contract.
Pay rate: $130/hr onsite patient care hours, $100/hr telemedicine lab review hours.
Full Description
VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide general wellness checkups on site at private businesses in and around New York City, NY and New Jersey. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical one-on-one patient care. Usually no more than 20 patients per day.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general wellness checkups.
- Consult with patients to understand their health concerns.
- Perform blood draws for patients.
- Advise/refer patients for follow-up care.
- Provide telemedicine services for lab review follow-ups.
Requirements:
- Valid and clean license to work in NY and NJ is preferred.
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)/ (FNP-C)/ (FNP-BC)/ Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) certified.
- Background in internal medicine, family practice, urgent care, or emergency room.
- Must be able to perform phlebotomy.
- Must be proficient with computers, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Must have a collaborating MD to cover this job.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including booster shot).
- Must be able to commute throughout New York City, NY and/or New Jersey.
