Electro-Mechanical AssemblerLocation: Lockport, IL 60441Schedule: Full-Time M-F 7 am- 3:30 PM$17 - $25 per hour Job Summary: Vitrek, a global leader in safety and electrical test equipment, solar and metrology systems, vibration/engine balancing systems, high-speed data acquisition, and real-time RF recording and playback solutions, is looking for a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler. With a diverse portfolio of clients including electronic, appliance, and automotive manufacturers, calibration and test labs, R&D departments, and medical, aerospace, military, and lighting industries, Vitrek consistently provides the best equipment and top-notch support to meet their test, measurement, and high-speed data acquisition equipment needs. What You’ll Do:- Perform basic and/or advanced, standardized, and repetitive electro-mechanical assembly including box builds.
- Perform Wire/Cable/Harness assembly.
- Some SMT and/or through-hole hand assembly (solder).
- Inspect Electrical and/or Mechanical assemblies, Chassis, Cables, and Harnesses for defects.
- May perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly such as cutting wire, stripping, wiring and fastening connections, and pulling kits.

- Must be able to read and understand work instructions, schematics, bills of material, diagrams, and engineering change orders.
- Must be mechanically inclined and able to use hand tools and small power tools.
- Ability to solder and/or rework fine pitch SMT parts under magnification a plus.
- Ability to work OT on an as-needed basis to meet company goals.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures.
- Must possess solid judgment and decision-making skills.
- Must be well organized and be able to multi-task.
- Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.

What You’ll Bring:
- High school diploma, GED, and/or technical diploma and 3 years’ equivalent assembly experience and/or military technical training.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to do repetitive operations.
- Excellent eye-hand coordination.
- Excellent manual dexterity.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 40 lbs.; ability to stand for long periods.
Pay Range
USD $17.00 - USD $25.00 /Hr.Salary : $17 - $25
