Responsibilities
- Retrieves and transports bare coils to paint line safely without damaging material or equipment
- Inspects coils and identifies and reports any defects
- Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse to maintain inventory
- Reads and interprets production schedule
- Prepare finished coils for shipment by identifying location to pull, trim, package and band according to customer specs using proper skids, bands, pad, and wrapping material
- Comply with all safety rules and guidelines
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics; experience operating material handling equipment preferred
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time; ability to bend and lift heavy materials up to & over 50lbs
- Function successfully in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Contribute to team efforts by communication and working well with others
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends
- Must have a VALID drivers license and RELIABLE Transportaion
- MUST have at least 2 years of forklift experience
Schedule
We are currently hiring for all shifts; however, all candidates must be willing to work Night Shift (5pm - 5am)
