VVater is a US-based, next-generation water treatment company that aims to provide Water for All Humankind with a cornerstone of sustainability and a promise of a better, healthier tomorrow. Servicing various industries and markets around the world, including Real Estate & Aquatics, Municipal & Wastewater Treatment, Food & Beverage, and Oil & Gas, our focus is on recovering and recycling different waters in a centralized or distributed way. The company also provides recreational quality water for artificial beaches, urban lagoons, wave pools, and surf parks, as well as ultra-pure and potable water for a variety of uses.

The Real Estate sector is characterized by constant innovation, evolving market trends, and the ever-changing landscape of property transactions. On the other hand, the Aquatics industry encompasses a wide range of activities from leisure to competitive sports, creating a diverse and vibrant market. Together, these industries offer a unique intersection of opportunities for a forward-thinking sales professional. As the VP of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in navigating both the Real Estate and Aquatics sectors. Your strategic acumen will be essential in identifying and capitalizing on real estate opportunities, forging key partnerships, and driving sales growth. With a focus on understanding market dynamics, customer needs, and relationship-building, you will lead a high-performance sales team to success in both industries.

At VVater, starting salaries are expressed as base salaries for sales roles. Additional compensation from sales commissions and short-term incentives are also part of the compensation package for a VP of Sales.

VP of Real Estate and Aquatics Sales responsibilities are:

  • Exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Implementing and executing strategic plans
  • Building and maintaining good customer relationships
  • Communicating effectively among clients and higher managers
  • Creating reports on sales performance
  • Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Extensive experience with the management of CRM-based software like Salesforce or Hubspot.
  • Establish sales objectives through forecasting through a sales process
  • Develop annual sales quotas for regions and territories
  • Implement national sales programs by developing field sales action plans and reviewing sales performance
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.
  • Establish and adjust sales prices by monitoring costs, competitors, and supply and demand indicators.
  • Complete sales operation requirements by scheduling, assigning sales team members, and following up on work results.
  • Maintained national sales staff through regular recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training.
  • Employ assistance from sales-focused freelancers or consultants to ensure quotas are consistently met.
  • Recruiting and hiring sales staff and developing training programs.
  • Project expected sales volume and profit for new and existing products.
  • Working with the marketing department to design print and online promotional materials for the company's products and services.
  • Monitoring the market and competitor products and activities and providing detailed sales forecasting.
  • Creating sales reports and providing feedback to the leadership team at company meetings.

VP of Real Estate & Aquatics Sales requirements are:

  • BA/BSc in Marketing, Business, or related field / MA/MSc would be preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years experience as a VP of Sales, Director of Sales, or Sales Manager
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a senior (C-level) leadership role may be advantageous.
  • Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Pardot, Salesmate, Slack, MS365, MS Teams, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
  • In-depth knowledge of selling strategies, methods, and employee motivation techniques.
  • Excellent strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Practical communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to maximize sales
  • Ability to create and implement sales plans
  • Ability to meet sales goals by monitoring progress
  • Ability to analyze sales data
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, organizational, and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop budgets and sales strategies
  • Aptitude for mentoring and coaching sales reps
