Job Description:
This position is responsible for researching and responding to telephone and written inquiries in a timely, accurate, and objective manner. It involves providing excellent customer service by resolving inquiries and offering support related to healthcare and health insurance matters.
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (Education verification not required)
- At least 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare or health insurance setting
- Ability to evaluate customer situations, make decisions, and quickly respond to inquiries
- Data entry and/or typing experience
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 1 year of customer service experience
- 6 months of data entry experience in an office setting
- Experience with various lines of business, such as CDHP, Medicare, Wellness, and Disease Management
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Referral preference for applicants who can meet testing criteria.
