What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Radiology Technologist position at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assists in the oversight and management of the Imaging Department, in support to and in the absence of Imaging Senior Leadership. This position assists in maintaining quality control of images, equipment, and departmental operations. Demonstrate departmental leadership by consistently providing quality patient care by conducting business in a courteous and professional manner while obtaining quality, diagnostic images. Greet patients, obtain and verify patient information to ensure proper procedural protocols. Acknowledges and practices strict patient confidentiality at all times.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent education required
2. Completion of a 2-year Radiologic Technology training course, or equivalent, in an AMA approved school required
3. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certified required.
4. Minimum 5 years professional experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist required
5. Licensed by the State of Hawaii as a Radiographer required
6. A minimum of 2 years of responsible administrative and management experience in a Radiology Department setting preferred
7. Maintain current CPR Health Care Provider certification required
8. Basic computer skills is highly desirable
