The Facilities Maintenance Technician for Wake Radiology is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks traveling across multiple company locations in the Raleigh and surrounding areas. This role requires a strong understanding of general maintenance procedures, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Oversees building scheduling and maintenance, custodial, safety, security, and/or grounds maintenance.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions (or work with vendors), including but not limited to:
- Electrical systems (lighting, outlets, circuits)
- Mechanical systems (doors, windows, locks)
- Building automation systems (if applicable)
- Oversees activities of contractors, vendor personnel, and suppliers; Monitors contracts for compliance and controls costs; monitors general expenditures of unit; performs quality control inspections to ensure adherence to contract specifications and industry standards.
- Conducts routine inspections of building systems and equipment to identify potential problems and ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Oversees basic carpentry, painting, and minor construction tasks as needed (helping with furniture and installation of certain office materials).
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent on tasks.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.

- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in multisite building maintenance or a related field.
- Possess a strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, building materials, and emergency maintenance.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to coordinate and/or supervise independent contractors.
