Walsh Jesuit High School is the largest co-educational Catholic high school in Ohio and currently has an excellent career opportunity available for an organized, detail-oriented professional in the newly created role of Human Resources Coordinator. The Human Resources Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support the effective and efficient operations of the school's human resources department as it works to ensure that the school's mission is reflected in its people, policies, and procedures. Walsh Jesuit currently employs over 200 people including faculty, staff, and coaches and the HR Coordinator will play an integral role in administering health insurance plans, maintaining compliance with employment laws/diocesan regulations, coordinating talent acquisition and employee onboarding, along with various employee relations activities and communications. This is a standard full-time, on-site position, working all 12 months of the year.
Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field and a working understanding of human resources principles, practices, and procedures. Prior experience working in human resources is preferred. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and customer service skills are also necessary. Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple priorities is very important. Candidates should also be proficient with Microsoft Office suite including database and spreadsheet applications and embrace/display Catholic/Christian values and spiritual life.
