Waltham Athletic Club is seeking a Tennis Professional to join our staff.
Summary: Under the direction of the Head Tennis Professional, the Tennis Professional will help coordinate all tennis court activities, tournaments, special events and facility usage for ongoing crossover functions in accordance with club’s missions and goals. The Tennis Professional will participate in the management of all teaching and instructional functions of tennis operations and programs including, but not limited to the following: timely and accurate record keeping, implementation of instruction for juniors and adults; clinic programming, team practices, membership relations and communications with members, staff, and club guests. The Tennis Professional should understand different coaching methods while adapting to the club’s own methodologies. The Tennis Professional will practice great patience on and off court and will adhere to customer service protocol. Junior Programming: The Tennis Professional will assist in all junior programming; help develop clinic schedules and lesson plans and implement a youth tennis program which matches organizational mission and goals. The Tennis Professional will be able to evaluate students, provide accurate and timely feedback of on court activity, and provide clear guidance to parents for future junior activities, development, instructional lessons and clinics: The Tennis Professional will assist in developing and building a player client base for private and semi-private instruction. The Tennis Professional will participate in the development, maintenance, and management/promotion of tournaments, social events, and other operational related activities supporting club goals throughout the year.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $44.00 per hour
